He is survived by: his wife Mary Rucks; his children, Scott Nicolaus (Pam), Cameron Nicolaus and Shelby Nicolaus-Dunski (John); his grandchildren, Sydney Dunski (Chase Knickerbocker) and Madelyn Dunski; his brother Ronald Nicolaus; his nephews, James Nicolaus (Lorie) and Jeffrey Nicolaus (Karen); his stepson Greg Rucks (Shirley); his stepgrandchildren, Marissa Hanson (Erik), Kyle Rucks (Tasha), Jordan Rucks (Alyssa), Scott Hess and Tarah Crance (Joe); his stepdaughter Joan Burdick (Jim); his stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Barnett, Alyssa Lee (Josh) and Amanda Cady (Nick); his stepdaughter Lori Deutsch (Larry); and his stepgrandchildren, Erica Gryttenholm, Maren Gryttenholm (Jakob Benson), Alexa Deutsch (Jacob Markin) and Jake Deutsch. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
