With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Helmer (DeForest, Wisconsin), born in Prescott, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 19, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Helmer and Edna Helmer (Bauerkemper); his brothers, Kenneth and Darold Helmer; and also David Holmberg.
He is survived by: his wife Carole; his stepdaughter Michelle Ernst (Chris); his stepgrandchildren, Mitchell, Preston, Benjamin and Jessilyn; his sisters, Darlene Anderson and Marilyn Schroeder; and also, Adam, Holly, Dawson and Jonathan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
