It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald David Erickson (Cross Plains, Wisconsin), born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Erickson and Annie Erickson (McNichol); his sister Rogene Erickson; and his daughters, Kristin Erickson and Karen Meissen.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Erickson (Brown); his children, Karla Ashmore (Will) and David Erickson (Tracy); his son-in-law Michael Meissen; his grandchildren, Kristina Navarro-Krupka (Nick), Bradley Meissen (Lauren), Katelyn Keller (Jake), Justin Ashmore (Allie), Kellie Ashmore, Wes and Jamie Erickson; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Beau, Sarah, Anna, Jack, James and Hannah.

He was inducted into the Wisconsin Hall of Honor which represents lifetime achievements for contributions to the Wisconsin National Guard.
