She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Slotten and Betty Slotten (Schlecht); her sister Jeanne Miller; her siblings-in-law, Charles, June Nowlen and Ally; and her pet Otis.
She is survived by: her son Curtis Jr. (Mandy Swiecichowski) of Madison; her husband Curt Nowlen; her daughter Nikia Nowlen of Minneapolis, Minn.; her sister Nancy Rhode (Alan) of Portage; her siblings-in-law, Jan Nowlen (Dick Martin) of Muscoda, Chuck Nowlen of Hudson, Tim Nowlen of Cedarburg and Chuck Miller of Portage; and her pet Benny. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society.
