He is survived by: his children, Randy Byerley (Shari), Jeff Byerley (Cindy), Mary Rogers (Steve), Kathy Warren (Phil), Kenneth "Skip" Byerley II, David Byerley (Nancy), Peggy Buckler (David) and Karen Knutsen (Steve); his stepchildren, Chris Wesling, Lori Kruizenga (Pat Tallon), Sandi Jacobs (Brian "B. J."), Judy Roberts (Jack) and Steve Paynter (Maria); and his siblings, Betty Ann Thompson (Jim) and Karl Byerley (Hazel). He is also survived by 49 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren.
