He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Dachel, and Rose Dachel, Sr. (Kurtz); his son Duane Dachel; his siblings, Marvin, Robert, Bernard Dachel and Rose Mary Ferguson; and his grandchildren, Christopher Dachel and Rhonda Norby.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn White; and his sisters, Helen Bowe of Chippewa Falls and Mary Ann Culver (Vernon) of Cudahy. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
