He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Culbert (Hepfler) and John "Walt" Culbert; his brother Duane; his son-in-law Patrick Logan; his sister Audrey Faschingbauer; and his brother-in-law Jerry Faschingbauer.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Sarauer; his daughters, Roxanne Logan of Georgia and Shari Tanttila of Alaska; and his sister Jeannine Yohnk (Donald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
