He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida P. Polzin (Gerber) and William C. Polzin; his wife Alice Margaret Anderson; his siblings-in-law, Arnold Anderson, Arvid Anderson (Linnea), Gunnar Anderson (Vera), Jack Anderson (Jean), Rolf Anderson (Dorothy), Ruth Anderson and Millie Polzin; and his niece Nancy Bejin.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Stock (Jeff) of Elk Mound and Richard Polzin (Karen) of Chippewa Falls; his brother Marvin G. Polzin of Broomfield, CO; his grandchildren, Josh Frenette and Allisyn Weibel (Travis); his great grandchildren, Lillyanna and Leeland Weibel; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Anderson, Clarence Anderson (Mary), Carol Anderson and Chris Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may go to Zion Lutheran Church.
