He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Steinberg and Elaine Steinberg (Lachenschmidt); his wife Gina; his son Eric; and his siblings, Glen Steinberg and Sharon Elwood.

He is survived by: his daughter Sara Wilfrath (Dan); his grandchildren, Jessie, Ethan, Chiara, Sara Steinberg, Nichole, Aaron and Maya Wilfrath; and his siblings, Wayne Steinberg and Diane Kosterman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
