He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hedtke and LuVerna Hedtke (Templin); and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife VirJean Hedtke (Schulze); his children, Roxanne Harrison of Rome, GA, Randall Hedtke (Nancy) of Kings Mountain, NC and Ronald Hedtke (Brenda) of Ham Lake, MN; and his siblings, Virgil Hedtke (Gladys), LeAnn Sauter (Hilary) and Majel Wendorf (Virgil). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
