He was predeceased by: his parents, Juergen Schroeder and Gertrude Schroeder; his former wife Dorothy Boerner of Cedarburg; his son Robert Allen (Marcia); his stepdaughter Gail Suhfras (John); and his brothers, William Schroeder (Patty) and Jack Schroeder (Pat).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kaestner; his sons, James (Jill) of Cedarburg, John (Paula) of Tempe, AZ and Thomas (Anne) of Nampa, ID; his stepson David Kaestner (Joyce) of Heron, MT; and his friends, Rich Galarski and Don Zach. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
