He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Teunissen and Mildred Teunissen; his wife Jane VanderJagt; and his brother Steven "Stubby" Teunissen. He is survived by: his son Paul Teunissen (Lisa); his grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah Teunissen of Cedar Grove and Lori Norum (John-Peter T.) of Sheboygan; his brothers, Dale H. (Betty) of Cedar Grove and Glenn; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Teunissen, Jean Schreurs (Donald) of Cedar Grove, Linda VanderJagt of Hartford and Mark VanderJagt (Karen). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in his name for First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove for the Youth Ministries.
