He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Soerens and Mary Soerens (TenPas); his wife Vera; his siblings, Norbert Soerens (Josephine), Gerald, William Soerens (Joyce) and Phyllis Velier (Eugene); and his brothers-in-law, Jeannette Sasse (Howard), LaVerne Balthazor (Al), Robert Nelson and James Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Buzaitis (Michael) of Sheboygan and Elizabeth Sproehlich (Anthony) of Grafton; his grandchildren, Robert Buzaitis, Steven Buzaitis, Jonathon Buzaitis (Cathy), Ryan Lynch (Amber) and Thomas Lynch; his great grandchild Lennon Buzaitis of Avery Buzaitis; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Nickel (Norman), Nancy Nelson and Lesa Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
