It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erwin John Claussen of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, born in Wilson, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Claussen and Dena Claussen (TenPas); his siblings, Robert, James, David Claussen and Jane Claussen; his stepfather Donald DeBlaey; and his siblings-in-law, LaVerne Voesch (Donald), Michael Staaben, Carl TenDolle and Ronald Rauwerdink.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Winkelhorst; his daughters, Dawn Claussen of Cedar Grove, Lisa Claussen of Grafton and Tanya Garside (Jeffrey) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Jean-Luc James, Amanda Laurel (Mark Nelson) and Kathryn Ann Garside; his sisters, Caroline Staaben of Sheboygan and Mary Ann Anderson (Darrell) of Plymouth; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Claussen of Sheboygan Falls, Edith TenDolle, Harriet Rauwerdink of Oostburg and Gary Winkelhorst (Julianne) of Port Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Erwin's name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Oostburg Ambulance and Cedar Grove First Responders.
