He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Martiny and Marilyn Martiny; his son Nicholas; and his father-in-law Norbert Bassill. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Nicole Vanica (Andy); his grandchildren, Declan and Blake Vanica; his brothers, Rocky Martiny (Deborah) and David Martiny (Barb); his mother-in-law Joan Bassill; his sisters-in-law, Diane Zehren (Tom) and Lori Mayer (Mike); and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Martiny (Kerry), Amy Martiny (Mike Huibregtse), Jamie Zehren, Cheri Manthei (Robbie), Kimberly, Tim Rowe and Billy Mayer. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
