He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Wanke and Louise Wanke; his former wife Arlene Rindt; his wife Virginia Loeher; his son Brian Wanke (Yaney); his siblings, Jeanette, Ervin Wanke, Herbert Wanke (Kay) and Alice Salzman (Lenny); and his sister-in-law Luanne Wanke.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Hume (Paul), Barbara Fults (Bill) and Scott Wanke (Julie); his grandchildren, Jeff Wanke, Mike Wanke, Calista Wanke (Noah Mages), James Wanke and Kaitlyn Wanke; his siblings, Mary Kirchgasner (Art), Lucy Larer (Fred), Peter Wanke, James "Jim" Wanke (Karen), William "Bill" Wanke (Elaine) and Johnny Wanke (Ellen); and his sister-in-law Celine Wanke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
