He was predeceased by: his spouse Lylee Harris; his brother Melville; his father William; his former wife Dorothy; his mother Elsie; and his sister Eileen Redmann (Ehster).
He is survived by: his children, David Ehster (Cathy) and Linda Reason (Thomas). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Church of the Living Christ, or to the family, who will direct them to macular degeneration research.
