It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel A. Bates of Burlington, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Batogowski and Sabina Karpinski Bates; his grandmother Lillian Karpinski; and his brother-in-law James Borchardt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his children, Mary Repke (Denis) and Judson Bates (Arlene); his grandchildren, Andrew Bates (Amy), Adriana Bates, Thornton Bates and Gunnarsson Bates; and his sisters, Patricia Borchardt and Barbara Casey (Daniel).
