He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Johnson; and his sister Debra Hallman. He is survived by: his mother Cora Johnson (Madland); his children, Mark, August, Zachary, Ashley Dechant (Tim), Christina Horstman and Elizabeth Johnson; his grandchild Maddalyn Dechant (Catherine Johnson); his brothers, Edwin (Kathy), Joseph and David; and his pet Lacey Mae (Mae-Mae). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
