He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Nemec and Sylvia Nemec (Antos); his wife Sue Reber; and his sister Arlene Bonetti (Richard). He is survived by: his daughter Anna Becker (Robert); his grandsons, Matthew and David Becker; and his brother Larry Nemec (Sharon).

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to the American Legion Miles-Hagen Post #200 or Black River Falls EMS department.
