He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sauer and Clara Sauer; and his sisters, Marion Klippel and Lucille Glass. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Tamuzian; his children, Jan Duran (Juan) of Carmel Valley, Jim Sauer of Mukwonago and Dave Sauer (Diane) of Cary; and his grandson Evan Sauer of Raleigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
