He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald J. Briggs and Petra Mimi Briggs (Madland); and his sister Mimi Steinhorst. He is survived by: his wife Mardell; his child Marty Briggs (Traci) of Green Bay; his granddaughter Bobbi Loderbauer (Daniel); his great grandchild Nathan of Green Bay, WI; his grandchildren, Abbi Vernon (Alex) of Sun Prairie, WI, Joseph Briggs (Laurie) of Baraboo, WI and Julie Leabo (Russell) of Gresham, OR.; his great grandchildren, Andrew Leabo (Emily), Weston Leabo (Courtney) of Gresham, OR and Casey Leabo (Taylor) of West Linn, OR.; his siblings, Martha Phillips, Betty Denman (Ed), Melvin Briggs (Cora), Pauline Dillard (Michael) and Marilyn Briggs; his brother-in-law Warren Steinhorst; and also Eren of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
