He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Prescott Hackett and LaVerna Hackett (Keith); his wife Patricia; his children, Kevin Hackett (Betty) of Castle Rock, CO, Karrie Heartlein (Mark) of Galesburg, IL, Sherry Appledorn of Lake Elmo, MN and Tracy Pace of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Tom Heartlein, Meg Van Velsor (Riley), Chelsey Celaya (Demitri) and Ethan Pace; and his brother Robert of Baraboo, WI.. He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.
