It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Evelyn Schmidt of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Fronk and Agnes Fronk (Sebranek); and her siblings, Raymond Fronk, Norma Dybvig, Sylvia Alderman Dziewior, Margaret Ott and Marie Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Schmidt (Bob) of Baraboo; her children, Larry Winchel (Sandra), Linette Greus (Dean) and Leroy Winchel (Kim); her grandchildren, Sybil Winchel, Sara Greus (Matt), James Winchel, Nate Myers, Corey Winchel, Dakota and Jessica Winchel; her stepchildren, Gary Schmidt, Sherry Doering (Gary), Vickie Schmidt, Deborah Dumke (Mike) and Dean Schmidt; and her stepgrandchildren, Aaron Schmidt, Jacob Dumke, Christopher Doering (Sasha), Mindy Dumke (Mitch), Robert Schmidt, Matthew Schmidt and Megan Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations go to Bible Baptist Church.
