He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clingman and Mary Belle Clingman (Morley); his wife Suzanne Jones; his sons, William, Chad and Vincent; his siblings, Ismay Keepers, Edwin, Wilber "Dean" and Harvey Clingman; and his brothers-in-law, Terry, Tom and Tim Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Clingman, Phillip Clingman, Abby Weigel (David), Carl Clingman (Beth), Marianne Bovy (Rob) and Jane Nachreiner (Mark); his stepchildren, Scot Jones (Susan) and Tammy Mathews; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Troxel and Cherrie Brown. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 727 8th St., Baraboo.
