It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Wedekind of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold J. Platt and Esther C. Platt (Zimmerly); her son-in-law Roger Vollmer; and her siblings, Harold A. Platt (Esther), James Platt (Cora), Ronald Platt and Dorothy Will (Arthur).
She is survived by: her husband Joseph H. Wedekind; and her children, John C. Wedekind (Debra) of Madison, James A. Wedekind (Donna) of Portage, Joseph M. Wedekind (Gail) of Baraboo, Jeffrey L. Wedekind (Peggy Rynearson) of Madison and Jo Ellen Vollmer of Baraboo. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
