It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Marti of Auburndale, Wisconsin, born in Arpin, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Marti and Cleo Marti (Trotter); his parents-in-law, Noel and Lillian Thorpe (Brown); his sister Judy Frazier; his brother-in-law Noel Thorpe; and his son Robert "Bob" Marti (Major U. S. Army).
He is survived by: his wife Donna "Bonnie" Thorpe; his children, Connie Weiler (Dave) of Auburndale and Tom Marti (Cindy) of Auburndale; his siblings, Ronnie Marti (Arlene) of Vesper and Joan Zubke (Butch) of Marshfield; and his grandchildren, Rob Marti of Edmund, OK, Amanda Cain (Casey) of Cocoeta, OK, T. J. Marti (Tiffany) of Tulsa, OK, Saul Weiler of Auburndale, Kaia Cherney (Shaun) of Auburndale, Joren Anderson (Jay) of Auburndale, Whitney Weiler (Jamie) of San Jose, CA, Nick Marti (Ashley) of Wisconsin Rapids, Jordan Marti (Julia) of La Crosse and Luke Marti (Becca) of Iola-Scandinavia.
