He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Ashton and Bernardine Ashton (Geyer); his wife Janet; his child Andrew Ashton; his daughter-in-law Julie Ashton; his grandchildren, Kelci, Nik, Reanna, Caden and Cash; his great grandchild Myles; his siblings, Donald Ashton (Chris), Judy Frisch (Jay) and Robert Ashton (Pat); his former wife Carol; his son Donald; his sister Carol Baeten (Tom); and also, Tim Laes (Lori) and Rick Laes. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
