It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Michael Nelson of Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fremont Nelson and Arlene Nelson (Bovee); his in-laws, Charles and Blanche Hansen (Kust); his brother F. Ronald Nelson; and his brother-in-law Dean Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Hansen; his children, David, Kelly Nelson, Brian and Jody Nelson; his grandchildren, Brandon, Cassie Nelson, Jon, Jessica Nelson, Nate, Elen Nelson, Joshua Nelson and Doctor Zak Nelson; his great grandchildren, Mila, Cole, Ce Ce and Reggie; his sister Carol (Larry Ehlinger); and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Nelson (Wanda Hansen) and Bruce (Tanya Hansen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Hickory Cemetery Association.
