We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2023, at the age of 90, Thomas R. Swanson of Ashland, Wisconsin, born in Washburn, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels P. Swanson and Hilda S. Swanson (Rasmussen); his wife Helen B. Mihalek; and his siblings, Nels "Bud" and Kay Faulkner.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Patti) of Hartland, WI, Joyce Meliska (Bob) of Washburn, Robert (Katharine) of Ashland and David (Rhonda) of Fairmont, MN; and his brother Charles (Ellen) of Minnetonka, MN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and School.
