It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loreen Ann Smart of Ashland, Wisconsin, born in Washburn, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Schultz and Vera D. Schultz (Dvorak); and her daughter Holly Kusick (Joyce Beebe Montalbano). She is survived by: her former husband Lance Martin; her husband Wayne Edward Smart; her son Michael Martin (Michelle) of Bozeman, MT; her stepchildren, Stephanie Schulte (Donovan) of Ashland, WI and Nathan Smart (Jenny) of Blackshear, GA; her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Rosner of Seattle, WA, Vincent, Philip Martin of Bozeman, MT, Owen Lajcak of Ashland, WI, Brittany, Caitlin Schulte of Ashland, WI and Sophie; and her brother David Schultz (Susan) of Appleton, WI.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and wonderful relatives as a result of her blended family.
Loreen had a big heart for animals and children and donated to many of their causes.
