He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H Hare and Hermine Hare; his brother Edward H; his son-in-law Curtis James; and his foster sons, Patrick and Jack Leichtman.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hagstrom; his children, Mitchell (Lisa) of Port Orange, FL, Wendy Julin (Bret) of Clearbrook, MN, Jonathan (Tammy) of River Falls, WI and Jacquelyn James of Mason, WI; his foster children, Michael Vanna and Kandy Mather (Greg); and his siblings, Robert (Susan), Thomas (Rachel) and Helen Hagstrom. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
