With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles W. Lavasseur of Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lavasseur and Jean Lavasseur (Osredkar); his brother Gary; his nephew Adam Lavasseur; his sister-in-law Cheri; and his close friends, Bob Ante and Don Bourgoies.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria A. Swanson; his children, Gary (Lyn), Jeff (Kim), Richard (Nancy), Billy (Jennifer) and Gail Goff (Jim); his grandchildren, Steven, Jeffrey (Mel), Jamie (Tina), Kelly, Charlie, Taylor, David, Angela, Sophia, Dylon and Allison; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Xander, Zachary, Macy, Clara, Chloe and Ryder; his brothers, Leon Osredkar (Shirley), Jack Lavasseur (Marge) and Dale Lavasseur; and his siblings-in-law, Arnell Lavasseur and Richard Swanson (Jim Thompson). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
