He was predeceased by: his parents, James Black and Gretchen Black (Rhode); his children, Steven and Maegan; and his siblings, Jim, Donna and Marlene.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Auger; his children, George Jr. (Carla) of Wetumpka, AL, Scott (Wannisa) of Burnsville, MN, Peter of Maple Grove, MN and Sarah (Jason Scherfenberg) of Burnsville, MN; his daughter-in-law Heidi; his grandchildren, George III, Jasmine, Ethan, Phoenix and Isla; his great grandchild Lily; and his sister Cathy Hendrickson (Ronald).
