Janis I. Scharmann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis I. Scharmann (Appleton, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Ruwoldt and Iley Ruwoldt (Meyer); her husband Richard Scharmann of Appleton; her parents-in-law, Emil and Florence Scharmann; her grandson Riley Guyette; her siblings, Christine Meidam and John Ruwoldt; and her brother-in-law John Kettleson.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Scharmann, Tammy Volkman (Ron), Ty Scharmann and Tracy Oskey; her grandchildren, Nicole Passehl (Jon), Trelee Jentz (Chris), Naqeeb Khan (Loveeza), Brady Tonn (Justine), Caylee Guyette (Hunter Horton), Connor Guyette, Elizabeth Volkman (Levi Snortum), Emma Scharmann (Dillon Jurgerson), Mitchell Volkman and Thomas Scharmann; her great grandchildren, Addison, Easton Passehl, Amayah, Idrees Khan, Steven and TJ Jentz; her siblings-in-law, Donna Kettleson and Leon Meidam (Marcia); her friend Patti Martin; her pet Rizzo; and also, Brian and Jenny. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Center Hall (n3990 WI-47, Appleton, WI 54913). Due to Jan's husband Dick not being able to have a funeral during covid, her wishes are not to have one either.
