He was predeceased by: his parents, Lothar Bieritz and Gertrude Bieritz (Schultz). He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Safford; his children, Pam (Roger), James Jr. "Bud" (Chicklet), Penny (Jim), Polly (Bill), Bill (Sarah) and Tim; his sisters, Kay (Dave) and Jean (Richard); and his grandchildren, Jamie and Corrinne. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
