He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Krueger and Myrtie Krueger (Ellefson); his sister Kay Bergstrom; and his sister-in-law Dawn Krueger. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Dennis McRae (Michelle), Karey Perez (Damien), Kristy Gaddis (Tom), Erin Muraszevski (Jeremy) and Joshua Krueger (Fabrizia); his siblings, Jim Krueger (Annie), Bruce Krueger (Beth) and Cheryl Chase (Dave); his sister-in-law Sandra Soll (Pat); and his pet Tilley. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
