He was predeceased by: his father Dick Lavicka; and his father-in-law David Larson. He is survived by: his mother Judy Lavicka; his wife Lynda; his children, Lisa and Joshua Patrow (Emilee); his siblings, Renee Gharrity (Dan), Scott Lavicka and Julie Jensen (Guy); his brothers-in-law, Tony Larson (Jamie) and Paul Larson (Jill); his mother-in-law Beverly Larson; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sydnee and Ranen; and his close friends, Tim Connor and Chuck Blunt. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
