We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024, at the age of 88, Carole Marcia (Weihe) Janssen of Adams, Wisconsin, born in Oak Park, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Arthur R. Weihe and Marcia O. Weihe; and her nephews, Michael Polivka and Daniel Polivka. She is survived by: her husband Martin; her sons, James of Adams, David (Kristin) of Oshkosh, William (Cheri) of Mount Horeb and Christopher (Cheri) of Sun Prairie; her sisters, Susan Polivka of Adams and Cathy Cullison (Gary Don) of Gulfport, Mississippi; her nieces, Cathy Polivka, Debbie Polivka, Beth Witt (David) and Marcia McAdams (Jason); her grandchildren, Amber Janssen, Greg Janssen (Lindsey), Elise Strycharske (Brendan), Geoff Janssen (Cleopatra), Lance Janssen (Andrea), Michael Janssen (Silvie) and Jenna Janssen; and her great grandchildren, Micah, William, Lenna, Louisa, Margaux and Jacob.
The family would request that, instead of sending flowers, memorial donations be directed to: the Adams-Friendship Area School District Scholarship Fund, the school's Fine Arts Center through the Adams-Friendship Area Educational Foundation, the Moundview Memorial Healthcare Foundation or the Sand County Players.
