He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bays and Nellie Bays; his daughter Lisa Bays; and his sister Dortha Tanner. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Dehning; his child Ryan; his wife Darlene Bays of Deer Park; his daughters, Sara Swentik (Matt) of Salem, Tammy Dowdy (Kent) of League City, Taryn Netek (Jason) of Deer Park and Tiffany Neal (Jonathan) of Deer Park; his grandchildren, Jaidyn Swentik, Madilyn Swentik, Alexandria Bays, Emily Dowdy, Greyson Netek, Zane Netek, Owen Netek, Colton Neal, Cooper Neal, Chloe Gamble, Natalie Gamble and Trey Hazel; and his siblings, Mona Godel of Woodland, Washington, Bob Bays (Marilyn) of Vancouver and Jim Bays (Sharlene) of Woodland, Washington.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
