He was predeceased by: his father Mervin Armstrong; and his siblings, Edith Blakeway, Vincent, James and Zelda Kennedy.
He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Armstrong; his siblings, Darlene Blurton and Greg Armstrong; his wife Christine; his children, Trina Funkhouser (Rob), Darryl Alexander (Dan), T. J. Armstrong, Hesper Guerra (Dario) and Adam Armstrong; and his grandchildren, Ellie, Miranda, Ariana, Ali, Abi, Aubri and Bobby.
