He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olaus Filan and Minnie Filan; his children, Barbara Goin, Donnette Filan, Teresa Thonney and Ron Filan; and his wife Evelyn Miller. He was also cherished by four children, ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three siblings.
