He was predeceased by: his brothers, James Shepard and Orvis Champ; and his daughter Stacie Hansen-Warner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Champ; and his children, Danny Hansen Jr., Heather Grass and Mistie Head. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
