He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Buchan (Jacobsen) and Harley Buchan; his wife Margaret Le Roux Donaldson; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his brother Cliff Buchan (Jeanne); and his children, Michele Daniels (Jim), Tim Donaldson (Katherine), Miriam Grant (Mark), Vade Donaldson (Sara), Dan Donaldson (Andrea), Anne Buchan (Robert Sickels) and Aaron Buchan. He is also survived by 21 grandkids, his family and many friends.
