He is survived by: his wife Susie Payne; his children, Timothy Kevin Payne and Paula Sue Carpenter (Payne); his son-in-law Don Carpenter; and his grandsons, Tyler Carpenter, Chad Carpenter and Alex Carpenter. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
