She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mothers, Frances Martha Overman (Young) and Elizabeth Emily Young (Powell); her siblings, Clair, Lois, Lee, Merle, Clayton and Claudia; her aunts, Merle and Claudia; her adoptive father Wallace; her husband Wallace Wayne Wilson; her children, Ronald Leo Wilson (Shawna), Jay Scott Wilson (Tanya), Thomas Wayne Wilson (Ann) and Emily Elizabeth Ely (James); her siblings, Ronald Overman (Vickie), David Overman, Vernie Murray (Johnnie), Marvin Overman, Dawn Overman and Shelli Overman (Dalton); her grandchildren, Matthew, Cheyenne, Montana, Canyon, Tristan, James, Arya, Aviella, Adrianna, Jacob and Dakota; her great grandchildren, Collin, Chase, Weston, Sawyer, Brynlee and Kaislee; and her grandmother Elizabeth Young. She was also cherished by her aunts, uncles, and cousins at her grandma.
An astute and fair businesswoman, Bette was active in the earliest days of the "Main Street Foundation" in Walla Walla and gave much to her community.
