She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Stigall and Hattie Stigall; her son Monty Hamlin; and her siblings, Inez, Esther, June and Jim.
She is survived by: her close friend Robert; her husband Robert Chitwood; her children, Ron (Charlene Hamlin) and Jeana (Troy Hendershott); and her siblings, Joe and Linda Stigall. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Many proceeds from their time on the road were donated to deployed soldiers; Laura had a, fierce loyalty to her country and its soldiers, in addition to her friends and family.
