It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Helen Cardenas (Sunnyside, Washington), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Ortega and Carmen Ortega (Guzman); her husband Jose Cardenas; her daughter Sandy Rodriguez; and her sister Vikki Ayala.

She is survived by: her child Syl Cardenas Escobar of Grandview. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren & 6 great great grandchildren.
