He was predeceased by: his son Rudi; his parents, Marie and Karl; and his brother Karl. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his daughter Marie Schaffner (Steve Becvar); his grandchildren, Harkin and Wilder; and his brother Edmond. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
