Donna was loved and cherished by all who were blessed by her kind and generous spirit, including her husband, Carl, her daughters, Bonnie (Mrs. Bruce Dike) of Issaquah, WA and Gaylynn Beuthien of Camano Island, WA, and also her cousin, Pat Strauch, and her longtime ballroom dance partner, Kurt Wanikzek. She was adored by her 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and beloved by her many friends in Williamston and Rainy Lake, Michigan.
Donna was a homemaker and a teacher of Home Economics, English, and American History. She was a dedicated wife and mother, who encouraged her two daughters to appreciate nature and the fine arts. The only child of George and Mona Yost, she loved people and befriended many. She was a wonderful hostess and always made time to have friends and family over for a proper cup of tea and a good cookie.
A baptized Christian, she looked forward to her heavenly home.
